About Us
An Fulacht Fia is owned by John and Mairin Connole. It is a purpose built restaurant which can comfortably seat eighty people. Our modern dining room is contemporary with carpet on floors and artwork on the walls from a variety of renowned artists who live locally, all of which are for sale.
From our kitchen, our head chef Irmantas and his staff serve up some of the finest cuisine in the Burren. Particluar care is taken in sourcing local seasonal produce and all meals are prepared to order. Fresh seafood is a speciality but we cater for special food requirements.
All of our house staff are local with intimate knowledge of the area and are always happy to give an impromptu history or geography lesson of the area.
We can provide a delicious light lunch or full A La Carte menu or simply a glass of wine while you relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty of the Burren.
On the outside, we have a large car park with good access for coaches. We have a beaufiul natural limestone rock garden with pathways through it to external seating where one can enjoy the spectacular views of Galway Bay and the Connemara coastline to the north and the hills of the Burren to the south.
